Production
Paint Finishers utilizes state of the art equipment
to prepare your parts for powder and liquid
coating.
Parts
Cleaning
Production
Paint Finishers uses two methods to clean your
parts: Most parts are run through our
conveyorized 6 stage parts washer, but for parts
that are too large, we use a hand held high pressure
spray wash.
In
1998 we installed a stainless steel automatic
washer. This ensures we have clean
substrates to apply either a liquid or powder
coating over. We use
chemicals from Henkel Surface Technology
(formerly Parker-Amchem). The six stages
are as follows:
Stage
1: Alkaline clean
Stage
2: Water rinse
Stage
3: Iron phosphate
Stage
4: Water rinse
Stage
5: Non-chrome seal
Stage
6: Reverse-Osmosis water rinse

Just
because your parts are too large to be run
through our automatic washer does not mean
that we resort to inadequate solvent wiping.
We clean and iron phosphate your parts with
our heated high-pressure sprayer.
